Employment Litigation Mediation

When an employee makes a legal claim against an employer, the litigation can be expensive and time consuming for both parties. The experience can be draining emotionally and damaging to reputation.  

Employment claims include harassment or discrimination based on race, sex, sexual orientation, sexual preference, age, religion, or disability. Claims can also include breach of employment contract.  In addition, retaliation claims are becoming much more prevalent.

Mediation is particularly suited to resolution of employment claims as it is a cost-effective and time-saving way to resolve these disputes.  In addition, resolution by mediation can keep the dispute confidential (if both parties agree) and allows both parties to move forward from the dispute.
